Yoong Chi Meng [ Principal Consultant / Auditor / Trainer]

With 20 years of experience in safety and health, Chi Meng served the Ministry of Manpower
(MOM) for a decade before joining the industry. During his illustrious career with MOM, he held
various prominent appointments including Head of Risk Management Branch and Head of
Construction & Equipment Safety Branch. He played an active role in spearheading the
development and implementation of Safety and Health policies, standards, assessment
methodologies and national programmes, notably Construction Safety Audit Scoring System
(ConSASS). At the industry arena, he conducted safety and health consultancy projects, audits
and training for numerous established organizations across a diverse range of industries.

Yap Siew Mei [ Senior EHS Consultant / Auditor / Trainer ]
A dedicated professional with a wealth of Environmental, Health and Safety experience, Siew
Facilities Management Pte Ltd, Delphi Automotive Systems (S) Pte Ltd and Avago Technologies
Manufacturing (S) Pte Ltd. Siew Mei was the lead consultant in assisting Salini Impregilo
(Singapore Branch) towards achieving BCA Green and Gracious accreditation. Siew Mei was
formerly an industrial hygiene engineer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Edwin Nathen [ EHS Consultant / Auditor / Trainer ]
Edwin spent 15 years in the Republic of Singapore Air Force as a Safety Specialist. He oversaw
daily onsite Workplace Safety and Health matters to ensure that the highest safety standards
were implemented. Edwin was also a safety observer during the construction of the United
Nation Relief Camp Accommodation at East Timor. Upon pursuing his career in the industry, he
participated  in numerous projects which enhanced the WSH standards of established
organizations such as Eng Kong Containers Pte Ltd and Da-Cin Construction Co Ltd.
Chen Huijuan Catherine [ EHS Consultant ]
A passionate EHS professional with sharp analytical skills, Catherine Chen graduated with a
Masters in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Catherine's EHS
consultancy experience stretches across a spectrum of industries, specializing in HAZOP and
biological safety management.
Er. Tan Geok Leng [ Associate Principal Consultant / Auditor / Trainer]

With a wealth of experience and knowledge in both public and private sectors, Geok Leng
started his Workplace Safety and Health career with the Ministry of Manpower in 1997. He was
the Senior Assistant Director (Investigations Branch) of the Occupational Safety and Health
Division before he moved on to the industry arena in August 2010. During his career with the
Ministry, he had conducted numerous accident investigations and inspections on pressure and
lifting equipment. Geok Leng was also involved in formulating the inspection policies on pressure
and lifting equipment. To date, Geok Leng has conducted inspections of pressure vessels and
lifting equipment for established organisation such as Exxonmobil, Shell, Chemical Specialties,
Power Seraya, Tuas South Incineration Plant, Yongnam Engineering & Construction, JP Nelson,
and Genfor.

moved on to consultancy and auditing, assisting established organization such as PUB,
Ssangyong Engineering, Jurong Primewide and Takenaka Corporation in enhancing their safety
and health practices.

Harry Ho [ Senior Associate Trainer ]
Harry has 30 years of experience in occupational safety and health (OSH) auditing, training and
consultancy. Before relocating to Singapore, he was a senior OSH Officer / Factory Inspector in
the Hong Kong Government Labor Department OSH Branch. From 1999 to 2005, Harry was
appointed by the Minister of Manpower as a Member of the Advisory Committee for OSH for the
Construction Industry. With the set-up of the Workplace Safety and Health Council, he was also
appointed as a member of the Construction and Landscape Committee in 2008
